Candidates for buttock reduction surgery
The candidate for the buttock reduction surgery must be in good health, that is, free from the following diseases

- • Infection with hepatitis C virus.
- • Anemia, or what is called acute anaemia.

Tips before buttock reduction surgery
- 1 Avoid smoking for at least a month before the operation.
- Avoid taking blood thinners, such as green tea, because they cause severe bleeding, and thus delay the healing process.
- Avoid all kinds of stimuli, such as; Caffeine, Arabic coffee and alcohol, for two weeks before the operation, because they hinder the anesthesia process.
- Follow a healthy and balanced diet for at least a week before the buttock reduction operation, to avoid any complications during or after the operation
- Refrain from taking medical drugs that cause blood flow for a period of no less than two weeks before the buttock reduction operation
Tips after buttock reduction surgery
- After removing the bandages, a compression garment that stabilizes and protects the treated areas must be worn for a period of at least six weeks
- Not to sit completely for a period of no less than 24 hours after the buttock reduction surgery, in order to ensure the safety of the area from which the liposuction was performed
- Avoid making any great effort or carrying heavy things for at least a full month, to avoid any complications that may occur
- Refrain from smoking completely, for a period of no less than two full weeks after the operation, because smoking prolongs the recovery period
- 5 Avoid strenuous exercise for at least two months, because it may harm the treated area, and thus may give unsatisfactory results.
